New year, new goals. Every year we set new goals for ourselves to achieve. Research has shown that setting goals and writing them down helps you achieve them. In a previous bol article, I have shared the new goalsetting spreadsheet for 2024. In this blog, I share my written version of a goalsetting sheet. I’m personally a good notes/iPad girlie. I love writing on a tablet or old-school on paper. So I created a paper/tablet version for you.
You can download it from my Etsy store. I added two colors to make it print-friendly. 😃You will start by deciding on 3 main goals for the year. why? We don’t want to set ourselves up for failure. We start focussing only 3 goals because don’t want to take on so much workload to start off with because it won’t be feasible.
Next up we define additional goals. You can focus on these goals once you have made a habit out of the previous goals and their tasks. What do I mean by tasks? Let me get to that…
Reaching your goals can be challenging. To increase your chance of reaching your goals you should set up tasks and habits that will help you achieve your goals. This is also a part of goal setting. I divide my habits into 3 categories, items on a daily basis, weekly or monthly basis.
That’s how easy it is to set up your goals. The big challenge is to keep yourself accountable and actually start working for them.
